Kristen, a member of our community, is facing an urgent health crisis. She and her husband, Dr. William Courtney, are respected medicine people with a branch of Oklevueha. Living in the Dominican Republic, they lack access to advanced medical care. Kristen is battling severe infections due to a series of injuries and ongoing health issues, including autoimmune disorders and a possible diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis.
She must be evaluated by medical professionals immediately, and she may require IV therapy and inpatient treatment. However, due to their remote location up a mountain, they will need to rent a car to transport themselves to the hospital and bring their own provisions, such as bedding and food.
We come to you today asking if you can assist with funds to enable them to get Kristen to the hospital for further evaluation.
